Monographs & Artists' Books - Photo Museum Ireland

Monographs & Artists’ Books at Photo Museum Ireland brings together a carefully curated selection of contemporary photobooks, artist publications, rare editions, signed copies, and independently produced works by Irish and international photographers. Reflecting the museum’s commitment to supporting photographic practice and publishing culture, the collection spans documentary photography, conceptual practice, portraiture, landscape, experimental image-making, and artist-led publishing.

From landmark titles by internationally recognised photographers to small-run independent publications and emerging voices, these books are selected for their visual quality, thoughtful design, and contribution to contemporary photographic culture. Many titles are produced by artists, independent publishers, and small presses, highlighting the photobook as both an artistic medium and an object in its own right.

The collection regularly includes signed editions, rare and out-of-print titles, exhibition catalogues, artist multiples, and special releases connected to Photo Museum Ireland exhibitions and programmes.

Every purchase supports Ireland’s national centre for contemporary photography, supporting photographers and photographic practice since 1978.
