Extra Terrestrial, Reggie McCafferty

'Extra Terrestrial' explores the role of folklore in collective memory and the tension between narrative and objectivity in storytelling. Using images taken throughout the artist's life, this project seeks to build a "documentary" language through fiction-blurring the boundaries between truth and myth, and examining how memory shapes, distorts and preserves the stories we tell.
