Fragile is a collaborative project between the artist and a team of forensic surgeons, conducted according a strict shooting protocol: each plate shows a human organ shot frontally in color with a direct light, on a dark background, presented with its caption which gives informations on the death of the autopsied person - without giving any identity - and suggests that the organ is the expiry cause. Recording these fragments of corpses, Dallaporta leads a philosophical reflection on human vanity, while touching the formal abstraction aestheticism and one of his chosen filed, the observation of invisible.
