Hole In The Head. Jack Scollard.

Description

The first in the series of printed matter for SMUT Press is a 36 page photographic zine by Jack Scollard entitled ‘Hole In The Head’. A recent graduate of the Fine Art Print and Critical Cultures department from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Jack is a passionate and versatile creative now based in London whose work straddles writing, sculpture and photography. They source a lot of their inspiration and influences from the queer rave scene and wrote their thesis on the utopian potential of the dancefloor. Many of those involved in that scene are documented throughout the zine alongside casual shots of friends and lovers as well as some short pieces of writing.

The aim of SMUT Press is to spotlight and commission queer talent to produce printed matter, as well as a music mix series.
