An independent 35mm self-portrait publication, shot using Kentmere 400 black and white film. Through motion blur and in-camera manipulation, these images
examine the body’s ability to blend into its surroundings, exploring connection to land, memory and the female psyche.
These works were hand bound into an 18-page booklet to allow the project to be experienced in a tactile format. The title ‘Sylphid’ draws on sylphs, elemental
beings that inhabit the air and move with the landscape.
