Elliott Erwitt spent seven decades finding the precise moment when the absurd and the tender collide. A Magnum photographer since 1953, his eye for sudden coincidence and chance encounter made him one of the most loved photographers of the twentieth century - compassionate, humorous, sinister and lyrical in the same frame.

PMI holds three complementary titles. DogsDogs presents 500 photographs of dogs - the largest collection of Erwitt's canine work ever published - shot full-bleed in arresting duotone with an essay by P.G. Wodehouse. Elliott Erwitt's New York is a monochromatic tribute to his adopted city, revised to include previously unreleased images from the 1950s and 60s. A Photofile edition completes the collection.
